Nordic Ad Spend Jan-Jun 2016

IRM has now published the report "The Nordic Advertising Market Jan-Jun 2016" which describes Nordic ad spend development during the first half of 2016. The Swedish market powers on while the rest of the Nordic markets are experiencing negative or significantly reduced growth.

In total, Nordic ad spend increased by 0.8% as compared to the first half of 2015 when a fixed exchange rate is applied. While development remains positive, it is a bit weaker than during 2015.

The digital share has for the first time surpassed 40% and in Sweden, ad spend increased by almost 5% in local currency. After a complete turnaround in 2015, and the strongest growth rate in the Nordics, Danish ad spend faced slower, yet still postive, growth. Declines continued in Norway and Finland, however the rate of decline in the latter diminished somewhat.

The Nordic Advertising Market Jan-June 2016 is available for 6 500 NOK and contains information regarding ad spend and growth per media category and country in the Nordic region. Time period: 2012-2016 (Jan-Jun). 25 pages, in English. Purchase
